There is no stopping the sun from setting at the end of each day. Even the brightest weather has to meet an eventual end, whether or not we are ready to face the looming darkness.
But there’s always a tomorrow to look forward to.
I do not expect anyone to understand the stabbing pain and the confusion I’m feeling as I am confronted by the naked truth. I can’t beg for it to change. Yet I don’t want to quit. I want to be strong, accept reality as it is and stand by your side as you have done for me all this time. Just as you have respected my duties and obligations, it’s time for me to honor yours. I love and trust you as I have always. Not even the biggest storm will change that.
